Religious Architectural Design Overview
A church is more than just a building; it is an environment that will directly impact the congregation as well as the religious leader. Religious experiences will be associated with the design and functionality of the church. DSA’s approach includes unique and specialized factors that are unique to houses of worship.
Specific programming of the church includes the type of design and the type of religion associated with the building. What works for one religion may not work for another religion. In some cases, the church may require a function hall or classrooms as part of the plans. The size of the church is also dependent on a range of variables.
